Treating Peyronie Disease with Focused Shockwave Therapy

For effective treatment of Peyronie’s disease, we use a combination of focused shockwave therapy, P-shot injections, traction device, and medication.

Shockwave therapy operates by directing ‘Focused High Intensity Acoustic Sound Shock Waves’ towards affected tissues. This process enhances blood circulation, disintegrates plaque deposits, triggers the body’s natural accelerated healing response, and fosters the repair and regeneration of fresh blood vessels. Consequently, it addresses the underlying cause rather than solely treating the symptoms of E.D.

Peyronie’s Disease TREATMENT

FOCUSED SHOCKWAVE TREATMENT for PEYRONIE'S

Benefits of shockwave for Peyronie's Disase

Reduce pain

In the early stages of the disease, it is common to experience pain with erections, which typically lasts for several months. Treating in the early stage can help alleviate the pain and discomfort. Sometimes, we need to administer a course of therapeutic ultrasound to decrease inflammation. We will discuss this on the initial  consultation

Increased sensitivity

Another common manifestation of the disease is decreased sensitivity of the penis. This can reduce sexual satisfaction and contribute to erectile dysfunction.hhhh

Non-Surgical Option

Focused shockwave therapy offers a non-surgical approach to treating Peyronie’s disease, sparing patients the risks and recovery time associated with surgery. Administered in weekly sessions at our London Bridge or Tunbridge Wells Clinic, this treatment is convenient and minimally invasive.

Helps Restore Size

Depending on the location and size of the plaque it is common for the penis to loose length and girth. Treating the disease with a course shockwave and a course of traction using a specialised penis pump
